Quick Diagnostic: MID 130 PSID 1 – 6
⚠️ Warning
Ignition OFF before disconnecting any components to avoid triggering unnecessary new DTCs.
Applies to: PSID 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 (FMI 3, 5, or 6).
Step 1: Valve Replacement
Start by fitting a new Clutch Control Valve.
Do the faults remain?
Step 2: TECU Isolation
Fit a known functioning TECU to the vehicle.
Did this solve the problem?
RESULT: FAULTY TECU
The original TECU is faulty. Fully fit the test unit, then program and calibrate as necessary. Refer to ECU repairs – TECU for specific repair instructions.
RESULT: RESOLVED
The Clutch Control Valve was the point of failure. Fault is now resolved.
RESULT: EXTERNAL WIRING FAULT
If the fault remains with a new valve and a known good TECU, inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the TECU and the Valve for shorts or open circuits.
